This is a listening tour. How can you listen if you are on your cell phone?

Cell phones are often prominently in use during Board meetings as well. I am not sure if this is allowed by KASB rules but I do know it is impolite at the very least. Important decisions are being made. I would hope Board members would give their full attention to the proceedings.

I didn’t hear much listening. It did hear a lot defensiveness and arguing with citizens who came to share their observations.
